I've been on alert all weekend. So far none in sight.
Maybe they got sucked into a transatlantic jet's engines. I can just see the headlines: Airliner brought down after encountering a herd/flock/cloud of spiders headed for the US. [What is the proper term for a collection of spiders? A horror? A fright? A bloody awful lot of arachnids?]
So I went for my usual after-dinner walk (a mile or so in a circle) - and got just half-way around when it began to rain. I think I set a new record hoofing the second half back home.
