My top list:

1. wreak havoc - nobody has any idea what this term originally described in terms of total destruction
2. awesome - ditto (may the ancient Greek gods smite those misusing this one)
3. grow - used as a transitive verb - any time I see an offer to "grow my income" I automatically shred and ignore.
4. any noun now used as a verb - for no good reason except laziness
