I loved Patricia Routledge as Hyacinth in Keeping Up Appearances. Her husband Richard (Clive Smith) surely deserved a medal for putting up with her!

Routledge was also great as Hetty Wainthropp in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates. There was certainly a world of difference between those two characters; Hetty was extremely likable, but who would want Hyacinth in their life?
