Although I think there's a chance that Delstar may be able to improve the firmware to the point that it's usable (yes, I know - I'm a cockeyed optimist
), after thinking about it for several days I've decided I'm going to return the Delstar as well.
For me, the problem is that I hadn't realised quite how small the 5" form factor is; even if everything is fixed (a big IF), it still won't be a comfortably-sized device for what I wanted.
I think the Delstar is a nice piece of hardware, and it does have potential (software wise) - for someone who wants a 5" screen. But I'm going to look for a 7" device instead
