I have never returned an ereader before. I reallly would like a dedicated 5" color reader.

DELSTAR PLEASE READ THIS
Many of us "early adopters" are quite disappointed with the Openbook even with the latest updates. If they are like me, they are not considering if they will return the OpenBook, they are considering when to return the reader to Walgreens.

I don't think that Delstar will have fixed most of the problems within 30 days. From what I read here on the forum, most others don't think they will have fixed things in 22 days [from date of purchase]

Delstar please think about this- Consider arranging with Walgreens for a special extended return period. Say for readers purchased in the first 2 weeks, the return period will be 60 days. 90 days would be even better!

I believe that if Delstar does that they will have a better buzz within the early adopter network. They will have a GOOD chance that some of the folks turned off by today's problems/bugs will have seen enough fixes before the end of 60 days to keep the reader. This assumes that Delstar will continue to go flat out during the 60 days to fix things.

I'm sure the marketing folks know how early negative buzz, can adversely impact a new product not only delaying when it will have desired market share but eliminating the chance of the product ever to excite buyers.

The special extended 60/90 day return period should help eliminate much of the negativity and prevent numbers of returns that would otherwise happen with a shorter 30 day return period.

But,What do I know, I'm just an engineer?
