I had this problem this week. I tried every fix I could find, to no avail. So, I was browsing through MobileRead again looking for something else to try, because my hair was getting really thin by this point and in the thread "
Sony won't run now" someone mentioned using a free program called
Revo Uninstaller. I was skeptical that it would work, cause hey, nothing else seemed to, but it did and I'm running Reader Library again.
If you have tried this program and it didn't work for you, my apologies.
If not, then I would recommend it.
