I seem to remember someone else having this and figured out what the problem was. Gee.. there have been so many... I meant to start a Wiki topic for the software... but just keep forgetting... (or maybe I'm lazy).

Do you have any security software on your PC like Norton or such? If so, disable it all.

Do you have the windows firewall enabled? If so, disable it.

Are you using the English version of Windows?

Also, minimize the window and see if there are any dialog windows behind it.
