Just went to delstar page and they had a different firmware than the one I put on the other day on the ebook manual page so I thought I'd give it a try but now the firmware installer tool doesnt see my reader. woohoo!

edit:nevermind, figured it out. had to reinstall the tool while the reader was hooked up.
this firmware works better. still no formatting but the crashing is gone. I cant tell if this is an older version or a newer since they dont change version numbers.
