I had sent an email to m-edge asking that they use elastic connectors for the four corners of their upcoming cover so we have the option to rotate the cover 180 degrees, which allows the cover to open to the right and not have the spine block the flipbar.

They replied that my email has been forwarded to the development department. They also mention that their covers are designed to be folded back. I still think holding the folded-back cover with my left hand relies too much on friction to keep it from slipping out. If the cover folded over from the right, then I can slip the cover edge between my left-hand fingers to get a better grip.
