I'm sorry about what happened to your Cybook. That must have been a rude awakening.
In my humble opinion the best readers available now are the Onyx Boox / BeBook Neo and the Pocketbook readers. I think they meet all your requirements.
As far as I know you cannot buy the Pocketbook anywhere in The Netherlands, but you can order it from Germany. There are many shops in NL that sell the Onyx Boox or the Bebook Neo, but you'll have to wait until at least next week because they're sold out - they're quite popular.
There's a lot of information about these readers on the forums, which I won't repeat here.
I've had my Onyx Boox for 2 months now, and it works! The worst that happened so far is that a book was closed when I tried to go to the next page, and I had to re-open it. I lost as many as 10 valuable seconds of reading.
