That's exactly why I want to give the ipad a try. I love my prs900, but I find it difficult to read in less favorable lighting because of the glare from the screen when I'm trying to find a good angle to read. Plus, I can already see the ipad being used more than just me at home because it'll allow quick access to email, facebook, weather, etc... because it's like an "always on" device that anyone can get on and access.

I guess readers of books like us will viote with their pockets in the end...but I do wonder how long it will be before Kindle Android hits the shelves for the best of both worlds. Was looking on a site the other day about a project model called the notion
ink Adam which has both android screen and an eink style page for book reading...looked pretty good so will keep an eye open for it. The site I saw it on was
www.ebookvolumes.com but I just went to check and the story has now been changed
