farking doctors!!!!
I have a prescription cream that it takes 48 hours to make. I called it in on Monday and then today called the pharmacy to ask if it was ready. they hadn't heard back from the Doctor's office!!!
when I called the doctor's office I get put on hold so they can pull my chart, then the nurse comes back on with "we'll get that taken care of right away!" so you KNOW they stepped in it!!!
called in pain killer scrip last night. this morning nothing has been done on it. called the surgeon's office and his nurse gets on the line "well you filled you percocet prescrition on Monday." me: "no I filled my
VICODIN scrip on Friday (HUGE difference in the two). she then lectures me that I am taking too many and says she will talk to the Doc in the am. I go and look at my scrip... sure enough take 1 to 2 every 4 to 6 hours. quantity 60. unless I'm completely mistaken, taken at the high end (which I pretty much do as I have the constitution of an elephant when it comes to pain meds... morphine won't work for instance), that scrip is good for
FIVE days. I'm already a day over refill allowance.
I guess this is more farking pharmacies and meddling/under achieving nurses
