Better grades 5 yrs ago .. The problem is, that I wrote my pre-degree 5yrs ago (and no, the time is fine
) and totally botched it (actually it's average but the absolute grades are bad). And because of this ... I'm not accessible for a parallel study of two separate courses (no matter that it would only be a formal parallel study because my first one is nearly finished).
Any other faculty I know discards the pre-degree (no one cares about it in my faculty too. You have to pass, no one is interested in the marks). But this one faculty .. well, they are special.

I hope .. there is a possible problem there (officially I'd be switching from "not having a degree" (first time student) to "having a degree" (second study) between the application and the begin of the study so it *might* be possible that I'm not admissible to the new study with an (then invalid) first-time-student-admission. But thats bureaucracy for you .. (and no, I cant apply for a second-time-student-admission prior to officially finishing my first study).
