But yes, the average user won't know anything about this...unless Delstar posts something where the user manual is located on their site? Since the user is already directed there for the manual, maybe that's the right place to notify people?
I also wonder how many other people _have_ bought these yet - there's no way to tell, really, but I find it an interesting "coincidence" that the fixes are being readied just when we (mobileread users) are first receiving ours. Maybe ours ARE the first ones out the door, and so Delstar may have some time to get the fixes in place before there's a flood of orders.
(Assuming, as I always include as a caveat, that the fixes actually do resolve the major issues, at least. If after the update there's still no PDF support, no formatting, etc, etc, then I think Delstar will be in for an unhappy few weeks)
