Purchasing Nook?

May I ask how you purchased the Nook since you're outside the US? I'm in Canada where we have no B&N, so I'm not sure if I should even consider the Nook. Also, what do you think of the prices of the books as compared to Amazon? What about the ease of buying books from B&N as compared to Amazon?
