Of all the complaints against DRM, this category of complaint is rather specious.

And given the simplicity of the process, I'm not particularly impressed by someone who is sophisticated enough to make a multi-panel diagram, but can't figure out how to skip the trailers or properly boot their computer.
If this works for you then go for it. I'm not going to be dictated to about which reader to get and where to purchase my reading content. I prefer free choice.
