Like Laura I'm debating on if I should upgrade to the new firmware.
Does anyone know if the new firmware changed anything for the MOBI/PRC format?

I've yet to try anything but MOBI, PDF and EPUB. I do not care at all for the ADE desktop or reader version. So I may have to see how Coolreader handles EPUB with the unique trick everyone mentioned here.

My biggest problem with EPUB with ADE is it wont remember the exact place I am reading when I return to a book only the beginning of the page and seeing I read in Zoom 5 that is several digital pages back. Does using EPUB with Coolreader change this?

MOBI's reader remembers the exact spot I'm on making it easier to return to my book. I read up to 5 books at time so I'm always switching back and forth so this is very important to me.
