Though DRM often has setbacks that you can't get around (without removing it). Stuff like limiting the number of systems you can use a software on (I think it was Bioshock that had this problem before they fixed it... maybe Sims too). When music was still DRM'd a lot of people would lose their entire music collection when changing computers, and all they'd get from the retailers was "yes, that's how it works."
There's less of that now, but to assume DRM's only drawback is a little inconvenience would be a mistake.
