The Sony Reader uses a meta tag inside the RTF file for title and author. Even using the tag editor in Windows Explorer will not work as this does not place the information inside the file as a meta tag. I have also tried libprs500 and that will only edit tags within its own database. The only way I know of is to edit each file.
