Ummm... No... I didn't contradict myself at all. I said "potentially". Look the word up...
As I said, it's a remote chance since the systems are as shielded from stray EMF and RF interference as possible, but since it's an impossibility to test
everything, are you willing to
potentially bet your life along with everyone else's on the plane that you aren't going to cause any interference with crucial systems?
I think it's a no brainer... If there is the slightest chance that my actions may cause a plane I'm traveling on to crash, I'd rather suffer a little inconvenience from turning off my gizmos than take the chance.
