Curiously enough, I was able to successfully use the IDS to update to the latest firmware at home.

Please keep in mind that I tried all this steps on my work pc.
These are the steps that I followed:
- In setup (pg1): entered the email address and redid the password with the keyboard,
- In setup (pg3): changed the computer name to match the name of work pc (step1), changed the workgroup to match work domain (step3), changed the username and password to match domain account (Step4),
- connected powered device to work pc,
- when the
Connected to pc...message appeared on screen, i accessed the page, clicked on the dropdown list with no success. I even tried pressing the connection button for a couple seconds.
Perhaps it will be best to readjust my settings and reattempt this process on my home pc. If I was able to do the last firmware upgrade at home, surely it should work for this procedure as well?
