okay, i'm back. the operation went perfectly, according to the surgeon, now i just have to get through the convalescence. i'm counting on lots of ice packs and sleep for that.

so i'm just checking in but i might not be around too much for a while still... i'm quite woozy and tired. and i'm wondering if it's time for another pain pill.

i filled BOTH my liseuses, just in case, i've always got plenty of tea, and the kitchen is piled with food (i started stocking up in preparation a month ago).

Darn, too bad you don't live closer. You need someone to say, "Poor baby" as they cater to your every want and need.
yes, that's exactly what i need. no worries, i've got some friends who will be looking in on me. i have to say, i didn't love being in the clinic (first time) but i think i could get used to the part where somebody else takes care of remembering the medecine and doing the cooking and taking away the dishes...

I'll be thinking of you
thank you.

moejoe, you should really know better than that. now i'm tempted to stay away on purpose just because i want to see you dressed up as a woman (like monty python) and talking about noir and hats.

So I'm having thé vert à la menthe instead.
tilleul is unheard of ? that's just crazy talk. perhaps i'll need to set up some sort of airlift when i'm up and about. trebuchet coordinates updated, and all that. i'll let you know when to open the window.

Paladin: Fitzgerald translation.
