I still believe I made the right choice to quit before I have a new job. But I'd do it differently now that I know what happened with the economy - more ala suck-it-up-you-can-do-it.

Sorry Katti! I don't disagree and everyone had to make that choice as to where they draw the line. It is only in the last 6 months that the economy (even in my area of computers) has recovered enough that there are actual jobs.
As they say, it's always easier to find a job when you have one already.
