ring.... ring....
Dave: This is Dave.
Salesperson: Hi Dave, hey I jsut got this email and I think it might be a spam or virus or something.
Dave: Can you tell me the subject or what it says?
Salesperson: It is from UPS saying that the package I sent couldn't be delivered. There is one of those paperclip things too, it says I can open it to find out where the package is. I dont think it is really from UPS though because I haven't shipped anything out.
Dave: You're right it most likely a virus that has been going around. It must have slipped through the filter. Do me a favor and copy it to the public Spam folder. I'll grab it from there and teach it to the filter.
Salesperson: uhhh, I can do that, but I opened it already and now my computer is acting funny.
Dave: .... sigh... You opened it? Even though you knew you hadn't shipped anything out?
Salesperson: Well yes, I thought it might have been something important. It wont let me do anything now, it keeps saying there is a virus and do I want to clean it or something. I keep clicking yes -
Dave: Stop!
Salesperson: <clicking noises in background> [distracted sounding] ahh, ok, but if it will take care of this then maybe you wont have to come over.
Dave: Those pop ups are part of the virus, your making it worse. I'll be right there...
Salesperson: Maybe if I reboot -
Dave: No! I'm on my way right now

By the time I got there he had rebooted and was logging in again....

sigh.........
