I'm working on my first draft of a still-nameless fantasy (for the sake of being able to refer to it, it's using the very temporary monicker "The Black War") sitting around the 56k word mark so far, and destined for 10-15k more at a guess.
I'll be glad to put this one behind me for a while after it's done though. There's a lot that I need to work out in it (plot holes, missing elements, and half of the first part being incredibly dull), and I'm more interested in going back to the only other novel I have a finished draft of and prepping to polish it into something decent.
And maybe one day down the road actually get published.
