I have a 5" jetBook Lite. I too felt that the 6" and the 5" screens were too small when I first saw them in the store. But I went ahead and bought a 5" screen anyway because so many folks here assured me that the screen size does not present a problem.

I have found that I am happy with my jetBook Lite, and I suggest that you not rule out a device with a 5" or 6" screen if it meets your other criteria.
