Another in the Burton E. Stevenson's mysteries. This is the first in his series with Jim Godfrey, a former police detective turned reporter, and Warwick Lester, a lawyer for a firm that represents many wealthy New Yorkers. One of Lester's clients is murdered and his daughter is suspected.
