I am currently looking to sell my DR1000S which is in perfect condition and hardly used.
I originally bought this as I have a lot of programming books in PDF format and it seemed the best option for me instead of lugging thick paper books around.
As far as that usage it was perfect as the programming diagrams and screenshots in with the general text were clear and easy to read on the big screen. I could even make notes using the stylus so I could check out things later once back in front of the computer.
Why am I selling then?
Well, I don't use it as much now for the programming. I mainly have the paper books open in front of me when I am at the computer and do little program reading when out and about or elsewhere in the house.
I will be getting another reader, but in a smaller screen size as that will be better for general reading usage and suit me better.
If you read manuals, comics or for revision work these are a great product.
I am in the UK, but will ship elsewhere (postage extra).
Anyone interested, let me know and I'm sure we can work out a reasonable price to suit us both. I just want it to go to a good home where it will get the usage it deserves.
