See http://i-to-i.irexnet.com/ for a list of features expected the next firmware upgrade. This includes a “Go to page” menu function. It isn't typically a good idea to rely on future upgrades when buying a Reader, but this list looks very do able in the short term. The iRex iLiad had a similar flipbar and it worked well with no major maintenance or wear issues.
