I've had my DR1000S for a few months now and bought zero ebooks, had to recharge it a zillion times due to the woeful battery life, and waited 8 weeks for it to be shipped. However...

I'm a professor in computer science. A large fraction of my life seems to be spent reading full-page PDFs - 2-column conference papers, scanned grad school applications, and so on. I've read thousands of pages on my DR1000 in the two or three months I've had it, and it's made my work a lot easier.

I'm hoping some of the developer forums here have suggestions on fixing some of it's more serious glitches.
