OK. Looks like as long as I put in the javascript, the articles show up...regardless of whether I put that method in or not. And if I try to put in the preprocess part, I get an error saying that "re" is not defined. But the articles show up with just the javascript.
The problem that I'm having is with cleanup. It seems that the keep_only_tags and remove_tags doesn't seem to have any effect. The article looks the same regardless.
The other problem is that the pictures don't show up...there's the square where they should be with a question mark in the middle.
