Yes, much much quicker. Basically instant. But it comes at a price of not being able to open books directly from SD card. Of course you can always enable scanning and reinsert the card. Or use "copy to internal memory" submenu of the book on SD card.

Victor, I ment that you don't have to use PRS+ installer to flash prs+ firmware. You could use igorsk's flasher, for example. But you still need to flash it, if you want the latest features.
I've checked the files that you've sent, they are not based on the latest version.
