I don't believe what they are doing is "okay" or "not okay." What I'm saying is thinking that outsiders (especially outsiders with an
internet petition) are going to have any effect on changing the values of a culture is profoundly Pollyannaish. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make someone care about horses. Note the profound and continuing ability of PETA to do nothing more than offend and annoy people in the US.
