I don't read the latest bestsellers. I won't buy DRM, and barely tolerate print anymore--I'll buy secondhand paperbacks, chop the bindings & scan them myself before I'll buy DRM'd ebooks. (Not important; I've never been willing to pay hardcover prices for books, and most big publishers seem to think ebooks should be priced comparatively with hardcovers.)

That is, of course, set by the publisher and is not our choice. We still HATE DRM... but the choice is not ours.

I don't mind stores that carry DRM, as long as they mark the books clearly. I'd love the ability to search for only non-DRM'd books, but I don't know how likely that is. Fictionwise has it--you can search for Multiformat--but I don't think anyone else does, because most other ebook stores are either "almost entirely DRM" or "no DRM."

The site will take PayPal and Credit Cards.

Be careful about that--PayPal has a "no adult content" rule. Dreamwidth, a social networking service, recently lost both PayPal and Google payments for refusing to insist on a "no adult content" policy for its users. I've heard some adult ebook stores have had problems; others have not--it probably depends on whether someone with a grudge reports the store.

I will check to see if there are other options. The entire website is either in PDF or EPUB only. The intent is to make things simple and ensure if you find a book you want it will work flawlessly. ALL Google are in PDF. Most others are offered in your choice of PDF or EPUB.

Will one purchase get access to both?
If I get one, I take ePub; it's more flexible. If I get both, I'll download both, and probably edit the PDF to readability. (Crop the margins out, add tags & sometimes bookmarks.) I like *some* PDFs better than epub--but since I never know how the PDF is formatted before I download, I always pick ePub first.
