I've been using the same Texas Instruments TI-8250 printing calculator at work for the past 19 years. It's old, discolored, and yucky looking. I've spilled coffee all over the keys so many times that I swear I hear sloshing from within when I move it. After all the abuse this poor machine has endured through the years it still works like new (knock on wood).

Now . . . I have the same identical calculator at home - same model, same age. Doesn't look nearly as bad as the one at work, never experienced spillage on the keys, never dropped it, threw it, nor even spoken harshly to it. There's no evidence of anything being wrong with the poor thing, looks healthy as could be, yet it just stopped working about 5 years ago.

Maybe I should have shared my coffee with that one too.
I've got a TI-5660 I've been using forever! And it looks it! Filthy! But it keeps on printing! My fingers are so used to its keypad I never want to give it up. Luckily it escaped the morning Pepsi bath.
Gotta love those Texas Instrument calculators!
