We put a note on the company intranet explaining it (in plain, non techy English, too). Since then we've had about 2 dozen people telling us about the problem, and one person telling us that they know we know because they've read the message but they thought they'd tell us anyway. Now I don't mind lots of people telling me about a problem I know about when I haven't told anyone I know about it, but this is getting silly.
