Talking of mobile phones, yesterday I heard a radio interview with a teenage girl about mobile phone scams:
Interviewer - Tell us what happened to you.
Girl - Well, like, I ordered a hologram to be downloaded to my phone. And then it is was like every day they'd send me another one. And I was like being charged £1.50 every time; and there was no way to stop them.
Interviewer - Did you try to contact the people who were sending them?
Girl - Yeah, I tried ringing them and stuff; but I ain't never heard nothing back. And the holograms, they didn't even work.
Interviewer - What they never worked, even though you were being charged for them?
Girl - Yeah, they'd send these holograms every day; and like, they'd say something was going to happen, but it never did.
