I am currently leaning towards starting prsp.sh only from SD card roots. This way it's very easy to unbrick and there is no messing with "guard" files which would wear off internal memory flash a bit.

After I deleted a font file via USB, 505 halt. And it halted again after reset.
Because I use code from frijest, it has a similar guard file, so I don't need to reflash firmware to recover my 505.
Only start prsp.sh from SD card root is safe, but it requires a SD card(maybe a memory stick is also work?). I think it's not difficult to delete the guard file using "Books by Date". The guard file should always be the last book.
