The light seems to be sporadic. I've had it turn green once or twice, but it's been mentioned in another thread that it is a known bug. In regards to the text size, I agree. Since I side load all of my content I've found a solution using Calibre to adjust the font sizes.

I also mostly use side loaded material and I use Calibre but I obviously need to learn better how to use it since I wasn't aware font changing was an option. Thank you for the tip.
