I just wrote an essay that, now that it's done, I don't know if I want to release it.

It addresses the adversarial and contentious efforts of web denizens to help develop the digital document age, and whether the trends and buzzwords common to the arguments... ie, economy, piracy, copyright, entitlement, etc, etc... are actually smokescreens to a bigger and more serious psychological/sociological issue.

Part of the reason I'm not sure I want to release it is, itself, the contentious nature of the e-book industry, and its tendency to tear into any comments (such as these) with reckless and inconsiderate abandon. I'm just not sure I want the grief...
