After which when it started up, it prompted me to register, and I did (I prob shouldnt have). After registering it promptly started to update itself to 1.2. So I'm back to square one. Why is it that when I dragged the bravo 1.0 file to Nook, it went to 1.1 and not 1.0? Perhaps I shouldnt hv updated to 1.2 when i first received it?
How do I make it revert to 1.0? I'm a bit afraid to try again bec it seemed to take so very long to reboot, a few attempts in fact. Thanks so much ..
Did you download 1.0 from here? http://www.multiupload.com/YWHOXQKYVS
Did you rename it to "signed_bravo_update.dat"?

I've softrooted twice. After the first successful installation I decided against it. But later on I did it again because of exchanging the SIM.
Between those 2 installations I had the original 1.2 as well, so this can't be it.
Rebooting a few times is strange. Normal procedure should be: You copy it to nook (the renamed 1.0). nook recognises it and automatically does the reflash. nook reboots only once (as far as I remember). You're back to the original 1.0. Don't spend time with it, don't register. Immediately do the 1.2 update (with the modified 1.2).
