Hi - I finally plucked up my courage to try to soft root, but seem to hit a hiccup. Actually I've had my nook for a week plus. So I did update to 1.2 firmware before I decided to give soft root a try. I followed instructions, dragged the Bravo 1.0 file to Nook drive. But the device went to version 1.1, instead of 1.0.
After which when it started up, it prompted me to register, and I did (I prob shouldnt have). After registering it promptly started to update itself to 1.2. So I'm back to square one. Why is it that when I dragged the bravo 1.0 file to Nook, it went to 1.1 and not 1.0? Perhaps I shouldnt hv updated to 1.2 when i first received it?
How do I make it revert to 1.0? I'm a bit afraid to try again bec it seemed to take so very long to reboot, a few attempts in fact. Thanks so much ..
