Minimalism

I just finished reading Chuck Palahniuk's collection Stranger Than Fiction and got turned on to Amy Hempel. Oh my god, if you like short stories and are a fan of minimalism you have to read her. Are any of you fans of this style of writing? If so, are there any other authors I should know about? I'm only familiar with Palahniuk and Bukowski.
