Nah, to me it isn't that they're going after Amazon and siding with Apple. Note that these enhanced ebooks are not compatible with the iPad's library system. I just see it as the publishers giving the finger to all ebook sellers, and doing something that they have near complete control over, and get a much larger chunk of the profit.
