And it was indeed a fast, fun read. Very good.
And what now? I think a Grantville Gazette — lots of short stories set in an alternate timeline where a small US town has ended up back in 1630s Germany, in the middle of the Thirty Years' war. Essentially fan-fic, but authorised and 'canon'.
