thanks for the links. i was just reading the snopes article while you were posting them but i notice the wikipedia article has been edited to remove any mention of the incident (it still is mentioned in the snippet in the google results, but it's not even in google's cached page). and i hadn't found that page about whether or not "asprin" is satanic. (the user titles on that forum are terrifying. particularly since i get the feeling they're not actually chosen by the users. actually that entire thread is terrifying.)
