There are multiple ways to manage your ebooks.
You can use the Sony library software and any library books borrowed and ebooks purchased from Sony will automatically download to the Sony software. You can also make use of the Collections feature through the Sony software.
If you want to use ADE, check to see if there is an option to import books. I have to tried a drag and drop method to add ebooks to ADE.
A third option is Calibre. This program will allow ebook management for DRM and non-DRM files. One limitation is DRM ebooks cannot be viewed using the programs ebook viewer option.
Many other have found the alphabetical listing by first name to be annoying. There is not way to fix this for Sony purchased books as that is how they populated their metadata information. If you purchase books elsewhere, they may have it correctly as last name, first name.
BTW, I have a sister who has the same spelling as your name.
