And it still amuses me that the Taxi driver in Denver, CO, didn't know where the Warwick Hotel was – until I stopped pronouncing it like the English city!
it baffles me how you get that from "happisburgh" but okay. Wymondham is worse than Worcestshire ! (i used to know a really good one but i forgot it. written down it was something like 6 syllables, but only 2 were pronounced. )

how is the english city of warwick pronounced ? warrick ?
