Maybe it's down to the individual one you got. There's no problem with the stitching or material on mine.

Really? I like the DR800 much better than my iLiad. Way better screen, much faster, battery life isn't even comparable, and UI is a lot nicer. Is it missing some features like annotation and zoom, sure, but those are supposedly on the way. Is your opinion primarily based on the software?
