Damn $150 is a good price!

I think the iPad AND the potential K3 release soon will both see a lot of Kindles dumped into the 2nd hand market. It's over a year since the K2 was released so an update is overdue in my opinion. I will be very suprised if Amazon don't at least announce the specs of the Kindle 3 before the iPad launch date.

The worst thing Amazon can do is let the iPad launch with the Amazon alternative still being a 13 month old design gray scale reader.
